Taoist Immortality Program

gold rank coin
A gold Zen Wellness coin signifies a dedication to the training and achievement of the title Master Instructor.

For students who want to take the next step, consider the Taoist Immortality Program. To be eligible for this program, students must have completed the restorative qigong/tai chi foundations curriculum OR have a current black belt (or equivalent) in a martial arts lineage OR have substantial, current experience in yoga, dance, or other movement.

From my teacher, Master Rath:

"I invite you to experience a life-changing journey. The journey of Taoist Immortality. This means presence, to fully experience and embrace this moment without attachment, judgment or inner resistance to the "isness" of this moment. Taoist Immortality means to fully embrace the game of life and the dance of form, while experiencing inner-peace along the journey. To experience this you must understand the two elements to your life: Emptiness and form. Another way to say the same thing is presence and time.

I have been practicing this for 30 years and I will tell you it is both a destination and a journey. The destinations are your measurable goals, the journey is presence, and this does not end. This is not a pill, potion or lotion. This is 100% about you. This takes work. This takes action. This takes sweat. This takes commitment. If I could give you a magic potion I would. But as you know, it does not work this way. Taoist Longevity Training is not therapy, it is an art, which takes dedication and perseverance. When we meet personally, you will show up with your cup empty and ready for change. You must do the work. No one will care more about you than you. You will train. You will sweat. You will grow. You will set and achieve your goals."

Health, Healing & Longevity is a combination of three things:
How you move your body.

Masters from the east have lived far longer and healthier than the typical westerner for thousands of years. “Modern exercise”, while having many benefits, is still very young and has not been time tested the same way that the ancient healing arts have been. Masters of the past have researched and developed many exercises and training protocols that have been proven to not only extend life, but the quality of life as well.

What you put into your body.

To obtain maximum health and vitality you must cultivate good eating habits along with the correct herbs. If you “diet”, please stop immediately! Instead, upgrade your habits. Dieting is usually silly and futile. Don’t cure the dis-ease, heal the life. We have gathered the best herbs we could find for health, vitality and longevity.
What you put into your “head”.

It has been proven that your recurring thought patterns attract events, people and circumstances into your life. Most people are unaware of these thought patterns. They happen while you are driving, working and even sleeping. This is sometimes referred to as the “voice in your head” that never stops. Through training, you develop the ability to create “gaps” or “space” in between your thoughts. So when you do focus, your ability to bring a situation or goal into your life is greatly enhanced.

Why would you want to join this program?

As we enter the twenty-first century, chronic health issues have become an increasing concern. This seems especially true for seniors who are experiencing these conditions and are seeking ways to prevent or treat their chronic health conditions and enhance their quality of life. While the preceding century saw much advancement in care and prevention, it, unfortunately, also saw a rise in stress and sedentary life style related ailments, including obesity, anxiety, hypertension, musculoskeletal impairments, bowel dysfunction, and many more. These later conditions have several factors in common: many can be prevented by life style changes and many are often quite resistant to conventional treatment once they have become chronic. Additionally, in many cases, conventional treatments appear to be associated with a significant incidence of side effects.
Because of these issues, health care trends in the twenty-first century are moving toward a willingness to try treatment approaches derived from cultures and philosophies which differ from those in western cultures. An example of this is the growing interest in western cultures in Chinese Tai Chi and other energy enhancing breathing exercises as tools useful in proactive health maintenance and treatment of chronic health impairments.

Consider this:You go to a gym, and develop your biceps. That is a good thing. If you are currently doing this, keep up the good work. However, what the ancient masters found thousands of years ago in the East, is that you don't die of a bad biceps. You die of a heart attack. The eastern health arts focus on joint and organ strength, not just muscular strength. This had been researched and developed through what is called the 5-Element theory. Your organs are connected to meridians and vessels that circulate energy through out your body. Your level of health and vitality will be in direct proportion to your organ health and your circulation of energy. This is difficult to explain in a short letter - students spend 4 years in medical (acupuncture) school to learn this. Let me say just this: If you have ever seen 80 year old Yoga, Tai Chi, Kung Fu and Chi Gong masters move like a 30 years old, that is the reason why.

This is a picture of an actual Taoist Monastery on Mt. Huashan in Northern China. In ancient times one would climb the mountain to live and study with the Taoist Wise Men to learn the Secrets of the Masters. Now, you do not need to go to China’s mountains to learn this knowledge. In our day and age, many of us just do not have the time and energy it takes to go there, yet we still want to learn and train. Now you can learn these ancients secrets without “leaving the world” as it used to be known. You still need to make a commitment to learning and practicing only you create your own mountain!

The Tao means a Path or WAY. This is not a religion. This is a way of behaving on a daily basis. This is how you get results. The information taught in this program was traditionally taught to disciples in the mountains of Asia. Normally a person would go and train with a Master for many months or years to learn this level of knowledge. In our day and age, this is almost impossible unless you are willing and able to leave your life, your family and business for a time being. That is unrealistic for most people. I am bringing the mountain to you! The climb is just as challenging and the results will be the same as long as you are willing to do the work.
