Programs of Martial Arts as they are practiced and taught at the Taoist Arts Center were originally developed and practiced for health as well as self-defense. Over time other benefits were identified.
Our Martial Arts curriculum will help develop balance, coordination, strength, self-control, respect, and self-discipline all the while having fun in a safe, positive environment.
As students progress through the curriculum they earn colored belts representing their journey along the path of self-discipline. Skills are developed and material increases in complexity over time, building confidence and a sense of accomplishment.
